When we first opened in 1988, we had two goals. Serve the best, freshest food possible and treat our customers with tender loving care. To this day nothing has changed. All food items are brought in fresh, never frozen. If it is not right, we will not serve it to you. Additionally, we will never forget that we are here to serve you, the customer.
Through the years we have strived to both accomplish and maintain those goals on a consistent basis. But as of 2008, we have added an additional goal. That goal is to serve one the best tasting smoked BBQ food selections in the Chicagoland area. We believe we are on track towards accomplishing that goal. On July 9, 2008, Chicken Charlie’s, and in particular our smoked BBQ menu, was highly recommended by ABC 7’s food critic The Hungry Hound..
